How to copy a Discord channel ID (desktop, browser, mobile)

Step-by-step guide to enable Developer Mode and copy channel or DM IDs for DTalky — with screenshots paths in our help center.

Connecting DTalky starts with one Discord ID per channel or DM. Developer Mode makes IDs visible everywhere in the client.

Enable Developer Mode

Discord → User Settings → Advanced → Developer Mode ON. On mobile: Profile → Appearance & Behavior → Advanced → Developer Mode.

Copy a channel ID

Right-click the channel (or long-press on mobile) → Copy Channel ID. For DMs, open the DM, use the profile menu, Copy User ID for the peer or the channel ID from the URL.

Paste into DTalky dashboard → Connect channel. Our in-app help has visual guides for browser, desktop, and mobile.
